We believe in complete transparency, from how our putters are made to how they perform and how we take care of you. If you have a question that is not answered here, reach out anytime.
Performance
Do wooden putters perform as well as metal putters?
Yes. Our putters are engineered for performance. By combining the natural feel of wood with precision metal weighting, we achieve a high moment of inertia for exceptional stability and forgiveness, resulting in better feel and more consistent distance control.
What makes wood better for feel?
Wood gives impact a warmer, more responsive feel while the internal weighting keeps the head stable through the stroke.
Will a wooden putter affect my distance control?
The head weight and balance are tuned for predictable pace, so distance control should feel natural after a short adjustment period.
Are Walnut Putters legal for tournament play?
Our putters are designed around standard performance and playability expectations. Check your event or governing body requirements if you need formal confirmation.
Durability & Care
Is wood durable enough to last?
Yes. Each putter is built from selected hardwoods, sealed for protection, and made to handle regular play with proper care.
Will temperature or humidity affect my putter?
Like any wood product, extreme conditions should be avoided. Store it indoors and keep it out of prolonged heat, moisture, or direct sun.
How should I care for my putter?
Wipe it clean after play, keep the face free from grit, and store it in a protective cover when it is not in use.
Can the finish be refreshed?
Yes. Reach out with photos and we can recommend the best refresh or repair path for your specific putter.
Customization
What can I customize?
You can tailor details such as wood selection, shape, grip, shaft length, lie and loft angles, engraving, alignment cues, and other build specifications on the builder page.
Can I add custom engraving?
Yes. Add your name, initials, a short phrase, or a meaningful detail available on the Builder page.
How long does a custom build take?
Custom build times vary by queue and complexity. Please allow for a 1-2 week lead time on custom builds as every putter goes through a rigorous quality control process and a 4 day protective finish process.
